AgriProve 2024 End of Year Wrap

AgriProve Year in Review

As we close out 2024, we’re proud to reflect on a year filled with remarkable achievements that have propelled AgriProve forward in shaping a sustainable future for agriculture. Here’s a snapshot of our top milestones:

ACCU Successes

This year, 14 soil carbon projects were issued over 34,000 ACCUs, reflecting the success of innovative farming practices implemented by our landholder partners. These projects not only demonstrate the potential of soil carbon farming but also reward farmers for their efforts in building resilience and sequestering carbon.

Geora Acquisition & AgriProve Platform Launch

The acquisition of Geora and the launch of the AgriProve Platform marked a new chapter in carbon farming innovation. The platform provides farmers with streamlined tools for tracking emissions, optimising soil carbon potential, and assessing climate and nature risks.

Tags for Tonnes & Ready Graze Programs

Unveiled at evokeAG in February, these initiatives revolutionised how farmers manage their operations. Tags for Tonnes in partnership with CeresTag enabled digital herd insights for smarter grazing and provided innovative financing to access the technology with no upfront costs. While Ready Graze offers a dashboard for landholders to track their herds and show insights to improve their grazing management.

Grazing Land Management Method Approval

AgriProve was instrumental in gaining approval for the Grazing Land Management method enabling landholders to earn Reef Credits. This allows farmers to implement sustainable grazing practices and achieve measurable environmental outcomes within the Great Barrier Reef Catchment.

ISO9001 Accreditation

Achieving ISO9001 certification demonstrates our unwavering commitment to quality and operational excellence. This milestone reinforces AgriProve’s leadership in delivering reliable and effective carbon farming solutions to our partner landholders.

AFR Sustainability Leaders Award

AgriProve was honoured as a winner in the 2024 AFR Sustainability Leaders Awards for Agriculture and Environment, recognising our pioneering role in driving sustainability across the sector.

AgriProve Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Marking a Significant Milestone in Quality Assurance

AgriProve, Australia's leading soiltech carbon developer, has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, marking a significant milestone in the company’s pursuit of operational excellence. This certification applies to AgriProve’s provision of carbon project management and administration, spatial mapping, soil sampling, regulatory reporting, and data analysis.

AgriProve delivers issuance of 1,711 Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) for Killen Carbon Project

The Killen Carbon Project covers 47.25 hectares and is owned and managed by husband and wife team, John Lawson and Philippa Yelland who run their cattle grazing operation. Killen Carbon Project focuses on sustainable land management practices designed to enhance soil carbon levels. Central to these efforts are soil remediation activities that improve soil structure and biology, achieved through the use of non-synthetic fertilisers and soil amendments that address macro and micronutrient deficiencies.

AgriProve and University of New England announce research collaboration to revolutionise grazing management

AgriProve, Australia’s leading carbon soiltech developer, and the University of New England, Australia (UNE), one of the nation’s leading applied agricultural research institutions, today announced a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) forging a partnership to create a digital research program utilising Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to quantify best practice in livestock management and carbon sequestration.

AgriProve Named AFR Sustainability Leaders Winner in Agriculture and Environment Recognising Innovative Technology that Delivers Rapid Results

AgriProve, Australia's leading carbon soiltech developer, had been honoured as a winner in the 2024 AFR Sustainability Leaders Awards for Agriculture and Environment, recognising its groundbreaking technology that fast-tracks result through a Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) Model.

AgriProve delivers issuance of 9,214 Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) in Tarramba, Queensland

The Howson Carbon Project, part of the Gunthorpe Cattle Company/Tarramba Brahmans grazing enterprise, incorporates 15 individual soil carbon projects. The first two to show validated measured increases  have generated a combined total of 9,214 ACCUs under the ACCU Scheme in a partnership with AgriProve, Australia’s leading carbon soiltech developer.
